This poor stretch began in New England where they committed 10 penalties for 78 yards in a 12-0 loss to the Patriots. And by time that penalty-filled period was over, the Cowboys had gone from 7-2 to 8-5. But it's also no fluke the Cowboys committed a total of five penalties their last two contests and have won both. We are not a good enough team to make up for the 2nd and longs and 3rd and longs. We are very successful if the 4 yards and a cloud of dust method is working.
