I think I remember JBB having the Blazers slogan set as "Telfair. The future is now." Or something like that.

    Rip City.

It's classic and the best option IMO.

Although I'm kind of fond of "need forum slogan" too.

That's a good point. There IS a sense of tradition with it.

Heck... "need forum slogan" was the forum's slogan way back when I joined the site 90 minutes ago.

On another (related) front: can we get the name of the forum changed? It's "Portland Trail Blazers" not "Portland Trailblazers".

Picky? Yes. But I think we're special and should get our team name spelled correctly. :devilwink:

Yes, we are a special group. Very special! I think we should get stuff that no other team forum gets.

Our Johnny Most--Bill Schonley--used to say "Rip City!" whenever a jumper "ripped" the net. It was said so often in the 70s, it became the informal slogan for the City and the Team.

My vote is for "Rip City". I would also support "Rip City Returns" as I believe that we are on the cusp of the greatest 10 year run in Blazer history. We have never had so much talent that fits so well together in the history of the franchise. Of course, as it was in the past, our primary concern will be injuries.
