But he said he didn't participate in the altercation outside a gas station in Minneapolis. Police said someone hailed police officers about 2:40 a.m. and alerted them to a fight in the parking lot of a closed Holiday station at 25th Street and Hennepin Avenue South, said police spokeswoman Lt. Amelia Huffman. Police found the men fighting near a parked sport utility vehicle. Foye, 23, and two of the men were cited for disorderly conduct and released, Huffman said. The fourth man, Pierre D. Mitchell, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing the legal process with force after he refused to get into the squad car, kicked the door with his feet and kicked at officers, police said. The incident happened hours after Foye made his second career start Sunday against the Boston Celtics at Target Center. Foye, speaking to reporters during a conference call, said Monday that two of his cousins became involved in an argument when he was driving in his vehicle. He said he pulled over and told them to get out and straighten out the issue. "I was not involved at all," Foye said. "I just want to make that clear. I want to apologize to my fans. That's not me, and it won't be me in the future because I'm much smarter than that." He apologized to the Wolves organization and fans for the attention caused by the incident.
