Two time MVP, won a triple crown & first black manager in MLB died today.
Smart and tough and a yearly Yankee killer with Baltimore Orioles. He then became
manager of the Cleveland Indians. He started his baseball feats with the Cincinnati Redlegs. R.I.P.

I had his Topps Rookie Card in the '56 Season. Frabk Robinson was an elite player who ranked up there with the very best. RIP Sir, you were a great one.!!!!!!!!!

Frank was the only player to ever win the MVP in both Leagues...

In 1968; My Dad took me to Oakland to see the two Robinson's play a double-header; ntm- a flurry of greats on both Teams. Those 2 Teams; Oakland and Baltimore would go on to dominate the AL and appear in Series play for the next 6 consecutive years...

Frank; not only won the Triple Crown and MVP in both Leagues; he also won the 66 World Series MVP.... He appeared in 5 World Series.

10 yrs in the Top 10 for B'Avg.

One of very few players to play for both LA Teams, Bums/Halos 72-74, that's an oddity of sorts...

Never had Frank's 56 Rookie Card; but still have his 1957-1959, and 63-69's....
