On Total Access last night Adam Schefter made mention of something I found stunning. Fred Taylor has never been selected to a pro bowl! He's currently ranked 4th in rushing for the AFC. I for one hope he gets to Hawaii this year. The great Jim Brown was quoted as saying he thinks a healthy Fred Taylor is the best current RB. Now he may wish to rethink that claim with the year LT is having, but there's no denying Taylor's accomplished career.
Fred Taylor is ranked something like 20 or 21 on the all time rushing list and I saw something on Sportsline.com (Fantasy league) that said he's the only running back in the top 25 who's never made a pro bowl. He was a pleasant surprise for two of my fantasy teams this year, but unfortunately after 9 carries for 137 yards against the Colts he pulled a hammy and lost his chance to hang 200 on them.
