LOL, c'mon man... I'm an eternal optimist, but this isn't exactly tough calculus.

Dame is already down on Neil.
Dame has made it VERY clear that he wants to see the roster improved.
Powell's FA decision is the first of any real significance for Neil.

Do you honestly think Dame will just be cool if Powell walks? As things are playing out, it's looking like it'd likely have to be a S&T. so that's something, but still... I'm not sure how Neil -- or anyone, frankly -- would be able to recover from that, with the deficit we're already facing...
 
If cj stays, norm should walk. My bet is same starting 5 as last year.
 
if it turns out that neil really was on that plane, i think that's confirmation of how much of a degenerate i have become this summer.

So you know exactly what Dame thinks? You guys are homeboys. Well tell Dame that I think he's the greatest Blazer of All Time. And that I think he can lead the Blazers to the Promised Land. And that if I can get back to Portland as hoped, I'd be glad to buy a Toyota from his dealership. And so on and........

Think I made it plenty clear I was reading tea leaves there. Maybe go drink a beer or smoke a J or something. This is a game, after all.
