This is the 3rd game of a 6-game homestand for the Blazers, and for the Knicks, this is the penultimate game of a 6-game road trip, but they will have had 2 full days off after beating the Lakers on Friday. In fact, this is the 3rd game in 6 days for New York, and the 3rd game in 4 days for the Blazers. I know the game is in Portland, but who actually has the advantage?

Nonetheless, the Knicks had lost 8 straight before the victory against the Lakers (LMAO), and have lost 13 of their last 15 games.

This game SHOULD not be as tight as Portland's previous three games, but a Blazers game is like a box of chocolate: you never know what you're gonna get until the end of the 3rd quarter.

If the Blazers lose to the Knicks at home in the same season as losing to the Wiz at home...
    ...Bump the 'Meltdown thread.

100% Nurkic makes AS team, esp since Anthony Davis may go East. He’s what 24 and starting to put up 20/10 nightly? He’s arguably a top 5 center in West now (Adams, Capela, Davis, Gobert)

I agree with you in principle bt until they change how the voting is done, most of the fans are, Nurk who?

He would make it already if the West wasn't so packed with star Players. He is better than Adams or Capela. NOP isn't trading Davis. The only way he goes East is as a free agent.

I start seeing nagging injuries every year about now. The Blazers are in the beginning of a fairly easy stretch of games. Time to start sitting players with nagging injuries and let them heal. If Evan Turner is hurting then why play the dude? He just does not have the same kind of impact he was having in the first month of the season. This is a perfect day off game.

This should be an easy win. I hope ball movement continues to improve, defense and effort are good. If both Turner and Harkless are out it would be a challenge to work around it but the Knicks are so bad I think we would win anyway. But we shouldn't sleep on it, that's the only way to lose this game, need to come out of the gate strong and try to finish the game early

He looked pretty good against Houston, although he did roll his ankle.

I do agree with the general point though. We should be giving one of the rookies a look in this game. I don’t know who you sit, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to find someone in need of a break.

Dame sounded awful after the game on SAT. He's still not over his cold. Our schedule is so intense right now with a game every other night and back to backs scattered here and there.

This would be a great night to just let him rest. His knees and legs are taking a beating with all these games and OT mins.

There are no scheduled "Easy Wins" in the NBA. Yes they do come along but you have to prepare every night.

I really hate the mindset that any game is easy. I hope the players don't think that way while preparing.

Should they beat the Knicks at home? Absolutely! Nothing is guaranteed though, they'll have to earn it.
