The Blazers are making the 4th quarter obsolete, as they have just broken the record for winning/losing games after leading/trailing at the end of the 3rd quarter. 54 games in a row where the 4th quarter essentially didn't matter! While this is not inherently a good streak, it is interesting, none the less. I just hope they break the losing game after trailing portion of this streak first.

Rodney Hood just made his Blazers' debut, and what a phenomenal one it was against the Spurs. He was nearly flawless, shooting 6 of 7, while not looking too terrible on D. Will we see Skal's debut this game? I assume he will only get playing time if the game turns into a blowout.

Against a team like Dallas, it's definitely possible. You have to assume the Mavs will now be tanking the rest of the way. This is a new-look Mavericks after the trade deadline. They've lost major players like Dennis Smith Jr., Harrison Barnes, Wes Matthews, and DeAndre Jordan, but gained some possibly impactful guys in Porzingis, Hardaway Jr., and Justin Jackson. Of course, Porzingis will probably be out all season, so he will not be seen, truly earning his nickname the Unicorn.

The Blazers have struggled this season on the road, while Dallas has one of the top home records in the league, so this game won't be a walkover. But then again, maybe it will be an easy game if the Mavs are tanking hard and giving their young, inexperienced players a lot of run.

This upcoming stretch of games will be quite the challenge for Portland. 9 of their next 10 games will be away from home. So for the rest of this month, they will only have 1 home game remaining. The only saving grace is that the All-Star break affords them a respite.

This may be Portland's easiest game of the month, so they need make sure to come out focused and with energy to avoid any chance of a let down, especially since this is one of those rare nooners. Hood has added a nice punch off the bench and has reinvigorated the Blazers' offense. Gotta ride that wave!

If Layman and Hood are going to get more minutes and close games, I guess I don't care who starts. #BenchMob

Collins has been the most under the radar disappointment in last two Months or so. Great start into the Season, but since then he got worse and worse

To me he been inconsistent from game to game. He would have game where he is aggressive and then you get a guy miss 1 foot shot right at the rim a shot that should of dunk.

I wouldn't say worse and worse - just up and down. Offense, sure. But I've seen some great defensive games from him recently (not last night) even if his offense wasn't on display. But then yeah, you have a game like last night.

At Dallas, At OKC, Home for the Warriors... Damn. We could be 0-3 or 1-2 before the All-Star Break.

Darkwebs apparently just wants to forget the 2018 portion of this season. The 2019-2019 season is here!

They’ve gutted their team, we should be good here if we take it seriously. Also pretty insignificant note but the Mavs waiver Mejri so hes not on their roster
