Somebody tell the team that we are locked in with our record and nothing will change regardless of a win/loss… So go out there and show us that we are solid for next year!

If I am able to make it (and it's still an if), what is the process for getting into the box?

Take an elevator. Walk down a hall.

There is an elevator for the boxes, I believe near the north west entrance. There are signs. You can also ask someone...or we will be with you and show you. We have to generally show our tickets at the elevator and the operator brings us up. There are a couple skyboxes, three I think actually, there are bathrooms up there and a bar area.

I was wrong when I doubted the off-season moves last year wouldn't make a significant difference.

My final game as a ticket holder. I'm sure I can get some fairly cheap tickets next season at my own pace. Having a toddler at home changes priorities, and with the state of the team, it's best to pick and choose when I want to go. Had an interesting run of years......Oden's rookie season, the Roy .08 shot, Roy comeback against Dallas, Doughnuts Felton, the rebuild, both of Lillard's playoff buzzer-beaters, the WCF run, and now this rebuild. A sad way to go out, but I had a great time and I know how fortunate I was to attend for all of these years.

The only thing about this game that matters is what the guys who are playing show. The guys who are guaranteed a contract with the team next season need to do their best to show the coaching staff they deserve a look to be in the rotation next season and for guys who are free agents heading into the off season, it's their last chance to get an invite to a camp, get a contract or get the most money possible. By the way, I believe that has been the situation since the all star break. So I expect a blowout loss but it should be the last pathetic showing we see for a long time.

Dame, Ant, Hart, Nas, Nurk, Justise and the guys we have under contract who are young playing against second stringers instead of first would be way better than this but we have one mid to high lotto pick and hopefully a late lotto pick, plus a 20M TPE and Beldoe's contract if we need to use it to get another contracted player. So this huge struggle of a season will be over after this game but I don't think this game will end any different than any of the other previous ten games.

Could probably get out of the first round with our injured list if healthy.

I mean we were on a four game winning streak before the all star break. We were playing with a lot of passion but clearly had to sit Nurk to tank better.

that 4 game hot streak was an aberration. And even after that streak the Blazers were only 25-34. And 8 of those wins, according to winshares, were provided by CJ-RoCo-Powell-Little, and none of those guys were going to suit up for Portland again this season

Blazers would have had to go 17-5 to pass the Clippers for the 8th seed, and that wouldn't have happened. Portland would have been 9th or 10th seed; would have had to win 2 play-in games, and then...LOL...as the reward they would have had Phoenix as the first round matchup with the added bonus of losing their draft pick...after getting swept....again

in other words, that hole they had been digging for 7 years would have just got deeper and the zipcode of that hole would be in Wearedumbasfuckistan

Utah and Denver are tied with identical records; Jazz own the tiebreaker so if they remain tied, Utah is 5th seed and Denver is 6th

the 5th seed has to play the Suns and Utah was 1-3 against them this season. If they fall to 6th seed they play Memphis and Utah was 1-2 against Memphis. Phoenix made it to the finals last season and is definitely battle tested. You'd think the Jazz would prefer to play Memphis

but in order to do that, they have to manage to tank the game against Portland, and the Blazers are not slouches when it comes to tanking. Meanwhile, Denver has a say in this and they may really want to tank their last game too so as to avoid Phoenix. But they are home against the Lakers and the Lakers are just mailing it in at this point

so the question is: will the Jazz try to win tonight or try to lose or just don't give a shit?

Yes I am. Mainly for the Schonz celebration, because I know the game isn't going to be pretty.
