The New York Knicks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 102-83, in Las Vegas Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center on Friday.

Despite the fact that this was a game with nothing on the line, there were a ton of swings. In fact, every individual quarter was decided by nine points or more, as the Knicks took down three of those. They really took control in the second half, outscoring the Pelicans, 62-40. Rebounding was huge for New York, as they won that battle, 38-28. In addition, the Knicks recorded 13 steals and 11 blocks while the Pelicans recorded seven steals and no blocks. New York ended up shooting 50.6 percent from the field while holding New Orleans to 41.8 percent shooting.
