Jazz by 3, Boozer and Memo need to step it up today with AK out

Ronnier Brewer is starting at the Small Forward today

C.J. and Ronnie Brewer [IMG] Sloan making some very uncharacteristic moves this year, he usually never plays rookies or young guys, I think he's lost it a bit this year.

Who's on the active roster today that took AK's spot? Hoffa, Powell, or Chase?

No Idea, probably Hoffa since Sloan's probably going to have to use Milsap at SF a little bit.

    Chase was released today...

Wow, Jarron Collins rolls ankle, and in came Hoffa. We're starting to look like the Jazz from last year.

    Hoffa-Millsap-Harpring-Fisher-Deron

    What has our lineup become?

What an enjoyable game. Dwill, Booze, Harpring, Okur, Brewer, and omg MILSAP all played GREAT. 4 blocks and 4 steals for milsap in limited minutes. 7-1 baby. Seattle up next.

Millsap is a beast, he had some insane blocks, who needs AK? This is the best game I've ever seen Utah play with out AK, since Malone and Stockton left. It was just amazing, the hustle the Jazz showed in the 4th, I finally saw a real scrappy team that doesn't have AK. You saw Millsap diving on the floor to get the ball, C.J. Miles saving a possession by calling Timeout on a loose ball he created on Clips fastbreak, and Brewer stepping up, to fill in for AK, he had a few hustle plays to get his own miss. I hope we can keep this up, we just played insanely good in the 4th, we didn't allow a FG to them for 10+ minutes.

Watch ESPN for Millsap's blocks, they were sweet.

You call 25 minutes limited minutes?

Jazz dominated the second half of this game. Their physical brand of basketball overwhelmed the Clippers, and LA never got into a comfortable rhythm. The Jazz are so efficient on offense, and they really whip the ball around to confuse a defense, while a player slashes to the hoop. Beautiful basketball by Utah.

Yeah, Sloan starting Brewer and giving Milsap minutes... what is going on!?

Btw, according to the boxscore, Milsap got 17 minutes. heh.

Great game by the Jazz, I really like the team you have there, and Boozer has been impressive every game. Also nice stuff by Milsap.

I think ESPN has to do better in their power rankings, If #3 can beat #2 by 22 points, there is something wrong.

Great game for the Jazz, especially with no AK. We are truly the bes team in the NBA.

    Watch out Seattle!

One of the Jazz announcer said Milisap had played 20 minutes and there was still 5 minutes left, so I assumed it was 25

They kept saying Clippers had played first game of year, their one loss, on the road in Phoenix. Then they played 5 straight @ home, and they won them all. Now they finally went back on road and lost, ESPN was just going by records too.

Without Kirilenko in the past, the Jazz have looked like a lottery team. There has only been one game without him so far, but if the 22 point defeat of a Clipper team who had won five straight is any sort of indication, the Jazz wont be so dependant on Kirilenko this season.

The Jazz are averaging 105 PPG this season, 13 more than the 92 they averaged last season.

Araujo and Powell had their Jazz debuts in this game.

    BTW, welcome BakedNoodle[IMG]
