The Lakers have won 11 out of 13, and need one win to climb within 2 games of the Utah Jazz for the 6th seed. The Clippers are only 1-6 @ the Lakers, while the Lakers have been at STAPLES Center. The Clippers will be playing without starting C Michael Olowokandi, so Shaq will really have his way in the middle (Not like Kandi would make a difference). It's questionable whether Corey Maggette may play, but if he doesn't, the Clipps are in trouble.

Keys to victory for the Lakers:
    1) Control the defensive boards, can't let Brand get too many offensive rebounds
    2) REALLY give the ball to Shaq A LOT, Clippers are extremely weak in the middle
    3) Of course we gotta keep giving the ball to Kobe [IMG]
    4) Restrict Odom from slashing into the lane too much, he can be a killer if he gets inside

Only 12 points at the half, Kobe is forcing a lot of baskets instead of letting the game come to him. He needs some easy baskets to get back in the flow. Shaq is playing great tonight offensively, but he needs to contest Rooks a little better. Lakers should step up on defense in the 2nd half.

Well, Maggette was guarding Kobe well all night, but Shaq was just too strong.

That windmill by Kobe was SICK!
