LaMarcus Aldridge will try to lead the Trail Blazers to theirfifth consecutive victory when they visit the Denver Nuggets onWednesday in a matchup between Northwest Division foes.

Aldridge collected 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and BrandonRoy added 20 points as Portland defeated the Detroit Pistons,102-94, on Tuesday. Aldridge has scored in double figures ineach of his last five contests.


The Blazers, who lost Oden - the first overall pick in June'sdraft - for the season with microfracture surgery on the leftknee, have received great production from Roy. The reigningRookie of the Year has notched 20-plus point games on fivedifferent occasions this season.


Despite their success, the Blazers are 0-3 away from home.

After a rough start, the Nuggets have strung together threestraight triumphs. The offense has really picked it up,averaging nearly 118 points per game during the winning streak.

Allen Iverson scored a season-high 37 points as Denver coastedto a 122-100 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.
