    CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) - The Calgary Flames try to avoid asixth straight loss Tuesday when they host the Minnesota Wild.

    The Flames have not dropped six in a row since November 2002.

    It has been a struggle for Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff,who has a 3.74 goals-against average during the losing streak.But Kiprusoff is 9-1-0 with a 1.62 GAA in 11 career startsagainst Minnesota at home.


    For the season, Kiprusoff is 6-8-3 with a 3.19 GAA and .884 savepercentage just two seasons removed from winning the Vezinatrophy in 2005-06.


    The Wild are on a slide of their own, posting just a 2-5-1record after starting the season with just one loss in theirfirst eight games.


    Minnesota suffered a 4-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche in itslast game on Sunday and continues to play without the servicesof wingers Marion Gaborik and Pavol Demitra, who are bothrecovering from groin injuries.


    Demitra has missed six of the last eight games and has 10 pointsin 10 games this season. Gaborik, who is tied for second onthe team with 13 points, has missed four of the Wild's last sixcontests.
