The Lakers have now won 6 games in a row and are currently 1/2 game behind Utah for the 6th seed. However, if they win this game they will have the sixth seed because they hold the tiebreaker against the Jazz (3-1). Kobe has taken a step back in the offense lately (even though he has gotten 30+ points in his last 15 games), and Shaq is flat out diminating, averaging 34 points and 11 rebounds in the last 2 games. Keys to victory for the Lakers: 1) Hit the oustide shot: Seattle likes to shoot a lot of jumpers, so the Lakers need to counter by hitting theirs. 2) Defend the three-point-arc, and rotate well in the zone: The Sonics can't be repeatedly left open for jumpers, they shoot the ball very well. 3) Kobe needs to drive a lot: He should be able to get to the hoop whenever he pleases, if he does this...Ray Allen should be in some foul trouble. 4) Once again, give the ball to Shaq: Drobnjak, James and Campbell don't have the slightest chance against Shaq.
These refs are horrible, they aren't giving Kobe any calls, and they must be too stupid to see that the Sonics are going over the back on every rebound. Fisher and Kobe need to sit on the bench for the rest of the game. What a disgrace of a game this has been. They haven't put in any heart for 3 quarters. They were up by 6 in the 2nd, and the sonics didn't even call a timeout, they just started making the Lakers look like idiots. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT!
Seattle 107 Lakers 90 Yay, Ray had a triple double and the Lakers got beat by 17, THEY DIDN'T PLAY MUCH HELP DEFENSE
Sonics killed us on the boards. Too many easy baskets. The Lakers looked very flat today. Time to start another win streak!
