DETROIT (Ticker) - With their seven-game winning streak over,the Detroit Red Wings attempt to start another one at home onSaturday.


At 13-2-1, the Red Wings have the NHL's best home record whilethe Florida Panthers come in with a four-game road winningstreak.


Florida, which has never won five straight road games, hasalways struggled against Detroit. The team has just threevictories in 18 games all-time against the Red Wings and hasjust one win in eight meetings at Joe Louis Arena.

Panthers goaltender Tomas Vokoun is 9-17-1 with three ties and a3.18 goals-against average in his career against Detroit. He'sbeen hot of late however, allowed just one goal during his lastthree games.


The Red Wings are coming off a 4-3 shootout loss to Edmonton onThursday, Detroit's first loss since November 24. Left wingHenrik Zetterberg leads the Red Wings in goals (23) and points(43).


Center Olli Jokinen, who leads the Panthers with 16 goals and 15assists, is scoreless in his last four games.
