ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Anaheim Ducks look to returnto the .500 mark Tuesday when they face the Los Angeles Kings.

The Ducks snapped a two-game slide with a 3-2 shootout victoryover the San Jose Sharks on Friday. Ryan Getzlaf and AndyMcDonald each scored a goal in regulation before cementing thewin with tallies in the shootout.


Getzlaf is off to a hot start this season and leads the Duckswith 16 points - five goals and 11 assists. The 22-year-oldcenter is on pace for his best season yet in his three yearcareer after finishing his sophomore season with 58 points.

McDonald, who has three goals and six assists this season,helped lead the Ducks to the Stanley Cup last season, notching27 tallies and 51 assists while appearing in all 82 games.

The Kings are coming off a wild 6-5 win over the Dallas Stars.Trailing 4-0 with just over seven minutes to play, Los Angelesscored five goals on six shots before a late tally by the Starssent the game to overtime.


Anze Kopitar scored his second goal of the game 2 1/2 minutesinto overtime, giving the Kings their second win in three games.
