    GAME PREVIEW

Long before the SuperDome, where the Saints of football play,
Lived a city that the damned called home.
    Hear their hellish roundelay...

    New Orleans!
Home of pirates, drunks, and whores!
    New Orleans!
    Tacky, overpriced, souvenir stores!
If you want to go to hell, you should make that trip,
To the Sodom and Gomorrah on the Mississipp'!

    New Orleans!
    Stinking, rotten, vomiting, vile!
    New Orleans!
    Putrid, brackish, maggoty, foul!
    New Orleans!
    Crummy, lousy, rancid, and rank!

    New Orleans!

    STARTING LINEUPS

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Jose Calderon - DeMar DeRozan - Hedo Turkoglu - Chris Bosh - Andrea Bargnani

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Chris Paul - Morris Peterson - Julian Wright - David West - Emeka Okafor

    KEY MATCHUP

    [IMG] [IMG][IMG]

Hedo Turkoglu vs. Julian Wright/Peja Stojakovic

We've got a tight matchup at almost every position tonight. It's a given that Chris Paul will tie up our point guards all night long. The shooting guards are a role player and a rookie role player, and neither player should dramatically impact the game. Both frontcourts are extremely talented (Bosh/Bargnani vs. West/Okafor), and its a toss-up over which duo will be able to impose its playing style on the other. The swingman spot is really Toronto's only decisive advantage in this game, and that's magnified after Hedo's performance against the Pistons Wednesday night. We all finally got a glimpse of how he can carry this offense when given more playmaking duties. Turkoglu's matched up against a raw Julian Wright and an aging Peja Stojakovic. I listed both players in this matchup, because Toronto needs Hedo to log big minutes tonight and take advantage of both players' defensive deficiencies.

I hope the raps can get a winning streak going, the hornets have struggled so far this season. They did have a good win against Dallas in their last game though.

    Sounds like a plan.

Dawson's got a bit of that nerdy vibe too, though. Both are insanely hot to me.

    Haha, Peja Skabokavich!?!?

I can't believe that video is true. Peja is married to this:

and he cheated on her with this:

He's officially the NBA's Hugh Grant.

Rasho gets such great positioning, but he's good for one missed layup every game.

on an unrelated note-peja looks like this asshole from my old neighbourhood.

as for the game- it was so predictable when jack and caledron blow the four point lead immediately when bosh and hedo went out. btw, bargnani is playing like garbage on both sides of the ball- games like this embolden the bargnani haters

-i suspect coach scott doesnt take us seriously and thats why he held out paul for so long
-i also suspect caledron to be attacked

Is he really? I've liked his defense so far. He hasn't allowed Okafor to outmuscle him like I thought he would and he's vastly improved his help defense. His shot is totally off, but it's encouraging that he hasn't allowed that to take him out of the game.

Every Hornet aside from Chris Paul looks completely lethargic. I can see why he's become frustrated.

Antoine Wright's 3 point shooting hasn't impressed me so far this season.
