He did wish Anfernee Simons happy birthday the other day, so there's that...

Athletes do this all the time: they retire and then realize they miss it. He's more likely to play a little in Barcelona, I think - the Lakers are set for bigs.

except Gasol didn’t retire and still isn’t sure if his foot will allow him to play.

The Blazers has injury protection on his contract fwiw so they didn’t owe any money after he missed 15 games due to injury. The injury protection was added specifically due to his foot. So he might be a jackass, but not because of this.

The Flamin' Ostrich strike again. Because of the way Gasol looks when he runs down the court.

He would be a great addition to our lineup.

I would take Gasol if he were healthy.

I fault Neil for signing him when he's injured and couldn't practice. Usually not a good sign for a 40 year old NBA player.

I read he was still trying to see if his foot was still connected to the bone without separating again...he's fucked up his foot and he's old....he's wooing the Lakers since Kobe passed or Barcelona....I'm over him being a Blazer...would have been a good coach on the bench..when he tears up over the Lakers I sort of puke a little bit...I know HCP loves that shit though
