http://www.si.com/nba/2015/01/08/blazers-nba-best-kept-secret-damian-lillard-lamarcus-aldridge I agree but think we are one bench player short of doing some serious damage in the playoffs. The west at the moment is an arms race and one more proven bench player will put us in serious contention.
That was hard work. The Rob Mahoney School of Writing believes that to understand each sentence, a reader should be forced to re-read its preceding sentence. My junior high English teachers would have turned his head around 180 degrees.
Excellent article! It seems this writer actually watches the games. I like this part the best... "Already we've seen this dynamic in play this season through the Blazers' more patient victories. On some nights they first feel out a game slowly, lurking about its edges. Then comes the fury – a LaMarcus Aldridgemini-run, a few fast-passing sequences ending in an open threes, and a burial by the hand of Damian Lillard. Improved defense has allowed one of the most patient teams in the league to more fully leverage its composure." Our first half is used to feel the team out, then we adjust at half time and completely take their game away. The only way this works is having confidence in your defense to keep you in the game until half time. Then break their back, heart and anything left over to win the game. It's burned us a few times, but mostly works throughout the season so far!
http://bkref.com/tiny/Vamhv A quick list of the best players this year... Dame's definitely Top 7. Is it just me, or Tyson Chandler having the best Old Man season of all time?
I just recall that people made a big deal over the Star Trek "to boldly go". To reach his/her own, I guess.
I never could understand why this was a big deal to some people. I mean, the adverb is modifying the verb and in many instances it just seems more clear to put the modification in front of the verb so you read that first. Some folks are just too fussy. As Buzz Lightyear would say, "To (split) infinitives and beyond."
Either way, if you're married, you'd better lift the toilet seat before you go or you're going to hear about it.
