"The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on Anthony Goldwire, General Manager Larry Harris announced on Monday. Signed to a contract on November 2, Goldwire played two minutes in the Bucks 102-88 win over Cleveland on November 6. The Bucks active roster now stands at 11 players. "

I don't understand why the Bucks would cut him in the middle of the season. Do you think this could possibly to set up a trade? Perhaps Goldwire got into a fight with someone in management or something. It's just very strange to see a guy get cut out of the blue like this.

Not really. He was only signed when Mike James got hurt right before the season. It could set up a signing or Toni or Zendon will be activated from their injuries. Not a real shock
