Dame’s 3 pointer against OKC was pretty impressive, but I guess he would have had to shoot it underhanded between George’s legs to “split the balls” and hit the basket to top that guy’s shot.
Certainly not the best, but probably one of the best known.... ABC's Wide World of Sports, agony of defeat. @Stevenson ..... That was a really cool clip you posted, for us to revisit. Thanks!
The day I threw a perfect game against Alexander Motors my 12 year old year in Hollywood Little League. Why it didn't get more national attention though is beyond me. Price I pay for not growing up in the you tube generation.
lol, I wish. My day was back in 1967. Unless someone was filming the game on 8 millimeter tape then no video exists. Sports Illustrated use to have a section at the end of each magazine that highlighted local sports feats by people and my dream was to make that, but alas, never did. I tell ya though, that kid definitely throws some heat.
NFL Films has chosen it as the greatest play of all time, as well as the most controversial. The play was also selected as the Greatest Play in NFL History in the NFL Network’s 100 series.
i'm a pretty good bowler(actual bowling, not that sport) and i couldn't dream of making a shot like that. that was amazing.
Ok....I'm old.... Baltimore 3rd baseman Brooks Robinson, 1970 World Series... He made 3 plays words cannot describe...
Game 3, 1970 world series Dave McNally (BO) was the only pitcher to hit a grand salami in a world series. Lived in Billings Montana and owned a ford dealership. Ive talked with him several times while doing business in Billings years ago.
