How good would we have been with this front court?

    ZBo, Durant, LMA

Thanks for the video. No matter how it turned out, Oden's story is quite interesting and tragic.

The article is worth reading. Glad to see he's found a path and happy now.

Agreed. B-roy didn't want zbo around, and preferred oden over durant. Lets blame him!

9 1/2 yrs ago! Seems like yesterday sometimes. I was thinking multiple championships when we won that pick!!
Just like the first great team we had - it didn't last long enough.

I want to say it was Game 1 of the preseason the season he made it all the way thru....... we played that Kings that day and he looked like a combination of Shaq/Dwight out there. Almost tore the rim down 5 times! That night was the most exciting of any moment I've ever been a part of with the team. He was unstoppable! He was such a chill, shy guy. Very misunderstood by the media.

Something must have snapped in him after all the shit he went thru that changed him or something...... when he was with us I would never think he was capable of something like that. I grew up with quite a few people who had very good hearts..... went on later in life to make horrendous decisions.... As I get older I'm understanding and trying not to judge. You look at somebody and have no clue their past or trail they've taken to get where they are. Things happen that can sour your soul...... seen it too many times. I wish him the best.

I was a huge Oden supporter the entire time he was here. When he had his first knee surgery, I immediately went out and bought my first Oden jersey and wore it to the home opener to show support for him. I bought my second Oden jersey a year later and wore one, or the other, to every Blazer game I attended for the next three years, whether he was playing or not.

I even wanted to see him play well in Miami. It wasn't until he assaulted his girlfriend that I gave up on him. I have ZERO tolerance for any man that strikes a woman or child out of anger. She didn't cause his problems and did not deserve to be the target of his anger:

"Oden was arrested and charged with battery after punching his then-girlfriend three times, hitting her so hard he fractured her nose. Oden only stopped when his mother, Zoe, awoken by the commotion, pulled him off the woman."

Whatever the reasons that put him in such a place of anger. He was the one that hit her, he was the one that made that decision.

    Eh. Nothing you can do.

You move on. I feel nothing towards that situation.
