Reports say Memphis has signed former Washington Huskies' guard and well known baller Will Conroy to a 10 day contract. Not official yet though..

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the Memphis Grizzlies have signed former University of Washington standout Will Conroy. Presumably, the contract will be for a 10-day period.

Last week on ESPN radio, Grizzlies' President Jerry West, said the backcourt was a big concern of his. Before reaching a deal with Memphis, Conroy was the NBDL's leader in assists, averaging 10.3 helpers per game with the Tulsa 66ers.

But the agreement is not official. The Grizzlies told Eyewitness Sports that Conroy has not been signed as of Monday, January 29th.

He is also the University of Washington's all-time leader in assist. </div>

Very disappointed that he was cut after the initial 10 day contract.

I understand the teams reasoning for going to Junior Harrington, but i really feel for Will.
