Argentina seemed to sit back at the end. Probably because Nigeria weren't pushing at all.

I still think Brasil, Holland, and Germany can beat them. Nigeria couldn't keep the ball at all when attacking and were weak in defense as well, except the goalkeeper who was fantastic.

 

Enyeama is a good player, for sure.

 

Messi, the best player for the argies, even after missing those shots. Argies pretty much owned possesion but credit to nigeria, they were trying hard towards the end to get the draw.

 

Messi should of put that one-on-one in the net though.

 

Argentina's performance was awful.

 

They weren't too good. I thought Higuain was their worst player.

 

I thought the entire squad was awful outside of their keeper. I don't know how Maradona believes that playing four center backs will win the World Cup. They will be lucky to face Germany and lose in the quarter finals.

 

Di Maria was also very disappointing.

 

Their defense wasn't that bad I thought, they did their job. But they have to play 10x better to be able to beat the likes of Brasil, Germany, Spain, (and I wanted to say et cetera here but Ronan won't let me)
