The UFC returns to Stockholm next month for UFC on FOX 14 featuring top contender Alex Gustafsson vs. Anthony Johnson, Ryan Bader vs. Phil Davis, and Dan Henderson vs. Gegard Mousasi. The event is being held at Tele2 Arena rather than the Globe Arena where UFC events have been hosted previously. Tele2 seats up to 40,000 spectators depending on the floor seating configuration compared to about 16,000 for the Globe. Ticket sales are supposedly strong but one factor working against the event is that the UFC wants to broadcast on FOX during prime time hours, meaning the fights will begin some time around 11pm local time with the main event not expected to begin until at least 4am. Dunno if they'll be serving Red Bull & Absolut.
