I saw your picture earlier today on FB. That isn't Japanese curry. Not saying didn't taste good, but this is Japanese Curry. It's brown, unappetizing (if you've never had it), probably comes from a box and is Japan's interpretation of the British Navy's curry. Oh, and it's fucking good! Nothing says Japanese like...Vermont And if you go to a curry restaurant in Japan, all of the little plastic food in the window will look like rice with lumpy brown sauce on it. This picture isn't the best. There were some spots where you couldn't make out what type of meat was supposed to be in the stew at all. Just cubed bumps in the brown half of the plate.
I just posted that while the food is good, it attracts an unsavory clientele with your photo attached.
Wow, it's been awhile. That was a good get together. Brother has since sold the restaurant. Found out when his lease was up, they were going to tear it and a couple other houses next to him and build an ugly condo place. Very sad.
