I'd go with Gonzalez, but I'd actually put Curtis Granderson in second place right now. And he and the Yankees do without ARod for the next few weeks could dictate where he ends up in MVP voting.
A lot of people wanna know this. I have gotten into many heated arguments over this topic. I am just going to leave it alone.
I wish players were allowed to use roids in (all) sports. I'd love to see what records they could break in running, jumping, baseball, football etc.
Cortisone shots are steroids. Yeah it would probably be easier to just let everyone use what they want and not fear testing positive. Losing because of injuries suck, hopefully that would be gone.
I'd like to think he is clean. I was watching ESPN and they did a feature on him at the start of the year and they showed how he changed his swing to create more of an uppercut in it. I don't remember the stats, but if you look his fly balls have obviously increased over his groundballs. I'm gonna assume he is clean. And its no contest. Adrian is the clear cut MVP IMO.
Idk... 16 - 15 - 15 - 13 - 54 - 31 at the break. something happened there besides a change in his swing.
Isn't it damn-near impossible to go about using illegal-substances without getting caught? That wasn't a rhetorical question.
I imagine that with a paper trail and all the snitchy bitches out there, yeah it is tough to keep it a secret. Holy fuck.... Bautista is #1 in Wins above replacement, #1 on base %, #1 slugging percentage, #1 On-Base Plus slugging, #1 Adjusted OPS, #1 Runs Created, #1 Adjusted batting wins, #1 Situational wins added, #1 Base out wins added..... http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/AL/2011-batting-leaders.shtml Dude it is Jose and not that close. Jose hits bombs with an Adrian Gonzalez-like batting average. Lets not get biased now, and I only like the Marlins so I could care less.
I think it is possible, just tough. See the Clemens trial, or all those snitches in the Mitchell report.
I guess until he fails a test or someone throws out a legitimate accusation, I'm inclined to believing he hasn't used PEDs.
