Finalized insurance, bought a car, finalized a room to live in in Ladd's Addition, and got a job waiting for me in Portland at Cheese Bar and the Cheese Annex at Commons Brewery,and I didn't even have to use my AK. Today was a good day.
I was in a fake rap group when I was 20 called Chris and The Ponies. There was no Chris in the group, so I guess I'm an honorary Chris at this point.
Yep. We were young and stupid. Not proud of that, but we did it as a joke and had a lot of fun. We were drinking a lot of cough syrup at the time.
Having not viewed that in years and years and then some more years, I am disappointed that only those 4 songs are there. We recorded 4 albums of 30 songs each. There were rules. 1 person had to make the beat and the other person had to grab the mic after the beat was made and sing or rap with the record button on the first time they were ever hearing it. And there was a rule against deleting that first take. So the person making the beat would purposefully try to make the dumbest and most confusing beat possible hoping that it would fuck up the person who had to rap over it. It led to lots of laughs. I still have a 30 song "Greatest Shits" album at home. "Mow That Wet Grass" should have been on that old myspace page. You are missing out.
