I am. I watched the vids others posted up. He is good. Plus I heard on the radio this morning that I was indeed wrong. Lamar wasn't the backup plan. Calabro had dry runs with several people and he said THIS is the guy I want! This is going to be a great team!
If this is indeed true, then it should be the beginning and end of the story regarding whether or not he was the right hire.
Get over it. But then were talking about a guy who never got over having to shave and not living in a cave anymore, sooo.. I understand your perma-stance. lol
Because Calabro is so in touch with what the fans of the Blazers want? Has he moved yet, or still commuting from Seattle?
Calabro has broadcasted Pac 12 network games for a long, long time....Seattle hasn't had a basketball team for a long long time
Stotts is from Iowa, Olshey from New York, Wheels from Chicago, Rice from Detroit....Calabro has more NW roots than any of them except Barrett who's an Oregonian
No. Because the Calabro hire has already been made, so the primary concern regarding an analyst should be someone who will work well with the PBP guy. If Calabro is unsatisfactory to Blazer fans, then the caliber of the color man will be completely irrelevant, and they'll both get the axe. If Calabro is good (as most expect), then we need to have decent chemistry between him and his analyst.
Stop making so much sense before you get banned. Rational thought is generally frowned upon in this forum. Drama, crocodile tears and playing the victim are the preferred posting styles. The "best" posters can combine all three in a single post. BNM
I saw that this thread started with the word "Happy". I thought maybe it was for me on my special day.
