One (asking for both is a stretch) of these dudes needs to step up, and now. Their inconsistency is killing us.

I lose track of the amount of times harkless loses track of the guy he's supposed to be guarding. For example last night the first 3-4 buckets the bucks scored were all on harkless. He's a good defender when he's actually defending someone. I'm not even going to get into his shooting, he'd be good enough just defending and posting up smaller defenders, but man he's not even doing that right now.

Aminu is a goddamn turnover waiting to happen every time he dribbles a basketball. I see his value as a defender but it really feels like he's single handily cost us more games than he's won. If I'm stotts I would seriously consider going McMillan/Batum on him offensively.

If we want to go anywhere this season, one of these two needs to step up. Crabbe has been relatively consistent and Turner is coming off an injury. Aminu and Harkless have no excuse. Grow up.

As for the offseason our needs in order:

    1. Wing with a consistent shot

    2. Backup center

    3. PF to push Vonleh

    4. Backup point that can run an offense. Doesn't need to be a scorer.

Lol. Yeah, yours is way better. Then we don't have to worry about trade-backs....

I don't mind keeping Harkless and Aminu with Crabbe coming off the bench...Olshey says we'll add 3 players off season...to me you get better when you upgrade the bench and those 3 make a stronger bench....we need that backup center...maybe it'll be Ed Davis? With the cap, Aminu and Davis are hard to replace for the price.

We need a PF. Vonleh hasn't proven that he is the long term answer yet. I like Harkless and think he can be a rotation player. I would look to trade Aminu if possible.

...I wouldn't limit it to just those two! Everyone needs to step up. You look at the recent huge road wins and you will see everyone contributing more than last night's game. For effs sake, Lillard shot 50% (3-6) from the damn free throw line. Not mention Aminu going 2-6 on his freebies. Those shots alone could have been the difference in getting the W.

I am not going to say Vonleh has definitely proven it yet but I also wonder what people need to see to show he has? Because in the last 9 games he is putting up 8pts/game and 7rbs/game in limited minutes which is pretty damn good when you consider he is the 5th option no matter who he is on the floor with.

no no keep him in the league just on someone else's payroll!

I Agree we need a ~15ppg scorer with elite defense on the wing. right now we get almost no production from the backup2/SF spot now I agree that needs to be No1 on the list of priorities, if we're lucky crabbe and harkless combine for 20 ppg thats gotta change for 28.5m per year. When you add Turner to that pot it just gets ugly. Gotta flip one of those contracts here's mine:

    1a. Above average 2-way g/sf Kris Middleton/Rodney Hood level
1b. Flip AC or Tuner + Meyers (maybe they combine with a couple firsts to make 1a happen)
    3. Veteran with Championship experience who can still play a little
    4. Steal an Defensive assistant coach outta SA
