I was searching around and found this interesting article from the Chicago Sun-Times. Times coulmnist Michael Sneed has heard rumors around the NBA that basketball legend Michael Jordan has bought a half share of the Bucks. With US Sen. Herb Kohl keeping the other half I'd expect. If its a half share, and I know MJ will keep the team here, I'm all for it, it could help us attract players, but not if he moves the team. Link
I highly doubt this. If this had happened, it would be all over Sportscenter regardless of what the NBA wants.
I used to have mixed feelings about this if it was to come up again, but now I'm all for it. I can only hope this is true. He could really push things in Milwaukee. Like getting a new arena, and changing the logo/colors.
I just hope he wouldn't become the GM, that would be horrible, you could end up with someone like a much worse Kandiman or Kwame Brown.
This would be a headline story if it were true, and even it was just a rumor, there would be coverage on it. I doubt it's true, I know Jordan was trying to get a piece of this team before Kohl took over, but I don't think the Senator wanted any part of Jordan as part owner.
ya i hope this is true because then there will be some really good, really major changes made. at least, that's what i think
