Cristiano Felicio has looked much different in his stint down in the D League than he did in Summer League and during the preseason. He's lost a lot of weight and is more explosive. I think he's trying to develop into more of a small forward with combo skills. At 6'9" height/7.025" wingspan he's about the size of Luol Deng, and a size smaller than Mirotic. I think his release looks slow and he still probably has a long way to go, both in terms of body shape and skills. But I feel like I would be excited if the Bulls had drafted the prospect he is now on draft day?
Ha, they had the Canton Charge -- who BTW are affiliated with the Cavs(!) -- on the NBA channel this weekend. I watched a little of Felicio and, wow . . .dude still has a long way to go to be an NBA player. I think it's great that the front office pulled someone of the summer league roster that they think can be a player, but the whole experiment feels a little Dalibor-esque.
