This team has needed a forward like Lemieux in the bottom 6 for a long time now, and should mesh nicely with Quinn’s style. Good deal.

Conditional pick as well. Forgot about Lemieux. Was hoping for Roslovic but I forgot about Lemieux. Our forwards are still soft. He plays with a big time edge and has offensive upside.

Wonder what the conditional pick is.

Oh a 4th if the Jets win the cup. So basically nothing most likely. All in all. I'll take the deal. Another first rounder.

Hopefully we resign Hayes after the year

So two 1st round picks now. Three 2nd round picks now. If the Stars reach the WCF one of the 2nd's becomes a 1st. If TB wins the cup one of the 2nd's becomes a 1st. So it is possible we could have three 1st round picks again (TB has a very reasonable shot to win the cup). And worst case we are 2/3 1st and 2nd round picks.

Good spot to be in. I would advocate dealing a few of the 5 picks to move up higher in round 1.

Rebuild well on its way. TSN guys were clueless. Talking about the Jets not having to give up their top d prospects. Shows they aren't prepared. I doubt Gorton had any interest in their d prospects. His own system is so freakin stocked with d-man there isn't room for all of them on the big club down the line.

Sweet. Maybe they move McQuaid for a 3rd/4th or even Namestnikov.

You saw without McQuaid the Craps taking cheapshots. I honestly think they should keep him. Lock him up to a 3 year deal. If they trade him they should make every effort to bring him back. He really can protect the young guys. Skjei plays very well with him. I'd move Pionk and Fast in a package and see if I could add another Lemieux type. I would do Fast and Pionk for Bennett and a 2nd to the Flames. Bennett plays with an edge. You have him, Andersson and Lemieux. You start to become a miserable team to play against. Though the Flames either don't have a 2019 or 2020 second. Depending on crap.

Good deal for rangers. Hoping lemieux takes the same curve that adam graves did when he came from edmonton blooming offensively in addition to being a tough physical player to play against. Really like this trade

He sounds like a Prust with a bit more offensive upside. Should be a useful guy for the next 5-6y. Wonder if he'll be in the lineup this week.

Looks like the Hayes trade was the only trade today where a 1st round pick was dealt. The buyers were much more conservative this year it appears. Should balance out what we got for Zucc as well. Looks like the 1st round picks were not flowing.

Lemieux had very good production with only getting 7 minutes a game. I take Vesey off the first line, put Lemieux there. Then put Andersson with Vesey and Buchnevich.

Another good deal. I agree with bringing back Hayes and McQuaid if the price is right. On a side saw Brassard heading off to another team while Mika flourishes.

I think Brassard will fit well with the Avs.
