Or one of a billion new streaming services all of which seem to be more expensive than Netflix.

DAZN is $9.99/month. A little choppiness watching Bellator yesterday; but worth the price. Really wish the UFC would go this route man. Up Fight Pass to $14.99/month and add EVERY card on there. Its the new way. Apparently the FITE TV stream for Canelo/GGG II was excellent, too.

Word is DAZN and ESPN are going to make big plays for Canelo.

As someone who doesn't watch TV I find all of these options baffling.

DAZN has succeeded. Canelo is theirs for five years.

5 years; 11 fights...my bad lol; mixed up the fights with the years.

They have a lot of subscribers already I think and they've got some big money behind them. My guess is that they're banking on the fact that streaming golden boy promotions and Canelo fights will lead to thousands of new subscribers. I signed up for a free trial earlier the month and I plan on keeping it. They have solid events monthly.

My hope is that this will open the doors down the road for future UFC negotiations. The UFC needs to get away from the PPV model.
