A couple of RCT forum members after a day of "Stitching and Bitching" like little old ladies during their quilt making day!
Ho leeeeeee shit. I've had and seen some close calls. Got in a wrecked Sante Fe. Drove it a bit and let off the gas and it kept going. Engine cover was knocked off. Thing took off like a bat out of hell. Was headed right for the mechanics stall something like that. Got it in neutral and all was good. Always rev a car before I put it in gear...now.
The back one looks like a Pontiac. Love GTOs, LeMans and Firebirds from the 60s. I can't say which are is my favorites 'cause I love so many older cars. Firebirds; GTOs; LeMans; Any Woodie; The Army Jeep (circa WWII through the 60s, I drove on in Vietnam in 1968); Late 50s Oldsmobile; 1955 through 1963 Chevrolets, i.e. Impala, Biscayne and Bel Air; 1960s VWs, bugs, vans and Karman Ghias; Any Corvette from inception to now; Any Thunderbird from inception through the porthole window in the back; Checkers; I liked the De Sotos with the push botton gear shift for some odd reason; The early 60s Ford Galaxy; The Porches of the 60s; The old Rolls Royce and I'm thinking of the one in the movie 1954 Sabrina with Humphrey Bogart, William Holden and Audrey Hepburn; The Bentley driven by James Bond in the book; Any Aston Martin; Any Ferrari; Any Lamborghini; Any Volvo; The Austin Healys of the 50s; The bug eye Sprite; The MGs of the 50s; The Triumph sports cars of the 50s; The older Morgan roadster; Any of the late 60s Camaros especially the Z28. If I thought about it longer I could probably come up with other favorites. Oh yeah, I loved those old German Mercedes military staff cars in WWII.
I suspect you mean the Ford Galaxie. The Ford Galaxy was a minivan they sold in Europe since the mid 90s. FWIW - My father had a '63 Galaxie sedan - I spent a lot of my childhood in the back seat of that boat.
...I had a '67 GTO convertible (don't even wanna think about how much it might be worth today) ...also had 3 Triumph TR6s ('69, '71, '75)
...my first Triumph was a Spitfire...(not much more than a go cart but was fun to drive...also made a horrible mistake of buying a TR7....(horrible design) ...but the TR6s (especially the '69) were great cars and a blast to drive and I still miss that throaty exhaust sound...always wanted an Austin Healy 3000.
