Can we go after him? Would you want to go after him? Would a Lopez-Hibbert duo interest anyone? I remember hibberts agent being very complimentary of how olshey handled himself when he was courting hibbert.

Wouldn't need Lopez if we had Hibbert.

Hibbert coming off of the bench would be nice, though.

I think he would be a better fit than Lopez in all honesty. Lopez just can't guard the elite big men, Hibbert is better at doing that even if he's had a rough couple seasons imo.

Vucevic is the only center I'd make a run at if he doesn't resign in Orlando

I think he signed an extension early in the season

I read that Larry Bird is very disappointed in the way Hibbert played this season, and if he stays in Indiana he might not even be guaranteed a starting position.

LeBron James coming off the bench would be nice.

I always thought we dodged a bullet when Indy matched our offer on Hibbert.

But you want Vucevic who plays zero defense and can't protect the paint?

There are plenty of teams Hibbert wouldn't start on. Not because he's bad, but because he's limited. Can you say that about lebron?

Yes. If we could sign and trade Lopez to Indy for hibbert I'd do it in a second.

The hard part is, I think it would take more. We already moved our 16 1st rounder in the afflalo deal (with cjs emergence this deal doesn't look as awesome in hindsight) so we are hard pressed for 1sts to deal. It might take Lopez and Cj to get them to bite. And I'm not sure, even though Cj will probably not play a whole bunch if Wes and afflalo come back .

Hibbert would give this team a defensive monster and improve us in a lot of ways. I think our team would motivate the Hell outta hibbert too

Yet he's going to make $15.5M next year, and you still want him? I'd rather keep Lopez. I don't even think Hibbert is better overall and the numbers agree.

yup I think he's going to be an allstar center and has the IQ and talent to be a team player. Double double machine. Great rebounding instincts

Sounds like Hickson. He can put up 20/10 but can he stop his opponents from out scoring him night in and night out?

You missed the IQ and team player part, right?

Having good bball IQ and being a team player doesn't mean he can play defense.

Steve Nash was the definition of a smart team player but he sucked at defense.

I love Vucevic and love having him on my fantasy team, but he'll be an all star center because of his offense (Which most are) not his defense. He kind of reminds me of Love in that way. On a really bad team but has monster all star type numbers., just no defense.

Lopez is not a better defensive force than hibbert. that's what this team needs, no?
