Honestly, I think these two are the best PF's in this upcoming generation. (Sorry K-Love gets no love here). I know it's going to come down to one or the other who will take the crown for best PF. We're kind of in a transition right now as Duncan, KG, and Gasol are riding off to the sunset. Gasol not so much.

What's your take? Take into account the full package, not just who get more ESPN highlights.

That's hard to say. If you want to talk just stats, probably Griffin will compile more. I think LA has a better overall game and is a smarter player. I'll take LA.

Griffin is stronger and quicker. He can handle the ball and finish.

They both run the floor well and Aldridge is longer.

But Griffin is almost four years younger, too.

Griffin has a MUCH higher upside.

Even though he's young and has plenty of years to learn, has Blake showed any signs of becoming a dominant one-on-one player? I'm not going to pretend I know, I don't catch Clippers game very often, so I will ask if he's improved his post up game much so far?

    Don't forget defense.

BG's still a rookie. Go look at LA's rookie stats. I love LA as a Blazer, but even I'm not that big a homer.

If Aldridge keeps playing the way he is, I don't really care if Griffin's "ceiling" is higher. LMA' "ceiling" is just fine.

My only concern with Griffin is that his game relies quite a bit on his explosiveness, jumping, power. He is not a finesse player. That's not a bad thing, but you have to wonder how long he can sustain that kind of game before his body starts breaking down.

LA is playing great. If he can put seasons together like he has the last couple of months, he will be an All Star (even if it doesn't happen this year). We're lucky to have him.

Blake Griffin is going challenge Lebron and KD for MVP's for the next 10 years. He's ridiculous. No slight on LA WHATSOEVER.

i dont love griffin like everyone else. hes terrible on defense, seems more like 6-8 and gets mor elove for his dunks then his actual game.

LeBron is a freak on all facets of the game. KD is a phenomenal scoring machine in every single way.

Stats are great and all, but will Griffin ever be able to be able to defend his position? In 5 years will Griffin still not have the length to contend the shots of Bigs like LA? Defense from Bigs is a major component of winning hoops, and winning is the real object of the game. I'm sure BG will have the better highlight real, but I see his career projection as the next Sir Charles while LA seems to be evolving into the next Timmy D.

to me this is a question of what you value more... stats/highlights or wins

But it's the only answer that is worth while to me. Griffin is a great player, but he's never going to be a Blazer. I hope Blake has a wonderful career and gets his ass handed to him by LMA every damn time he plays the Blazers.
