HOF Material?

Big Willie Anderson... i believe he should get in there when he chooses to retire... what do you all think?

On gut reaction, Id say no....Hes been good for a while, but he was never the best and I dont think most people would consider him a Top-3 tackle at any point in his career....

 

I'd agree - initial reaction is very good player but not HOF player.

 

I dunno, Wilie has been at the top for several consecutive years now, if im voting, I put him in.

 

He's not a HOF tackle. He never was one of the top 3 or 5 tackles in the league. It's tough to be an OT and make it into the HoF. Look at Rayfield Wright last season...it took decades to get him into the Hall. I'm a hard judge when it comes to OTs into the Hall as well...I compare everyone to Anthony Munoz and really that's not fair of me, but I do it.

 

he has been a great tackle hes just been on very terrible teams through the prime of his career

 

I gotta go with "no" on this one as well.

Part of the issue is whether or not he belongs there. For the other part of the issue, look at the candidates for 2007 and tell me who you leave off.
