*IF* he does, the fanbase response has to be of epic scorched earth proportions.

Why? It could turn out to be the best thing for the franchise's future, if executed well. If Dame wants out, and I would be surprised if that's his play at this point, moving a superstar in his prime has netted other franchises the assets that they need in order to build for the future. If the Blazers can't get the job done in Dame's window, you have to take the lemons of Dame leaving and make a nice franchise lemon meringue pie out of it for the future. I don't think the team has ever had an opportunity to move a superstar in his prime before. The Blazers have pissed away Walton, Clyde, Rasheed & LMA (if you can count him as a superstar). It would be really nice to actually get a major haul for Lillard. I'm all in on dumping Olshey as far as being the architect of the rebuild, but IF Dame wants out, I'm sure not turning on the team.

They will have earned it. The collective hysteria and witch hunting would make anyone run mad.

    I'm not holding them responsible.

If Dame actually wants out (which I sincerely doubt), I will probably give up my Blazer fandom - not because of Jody and NO - but because of the SJWs. It would mean that small market Portland, which has almost zero % chance to win a title, now has a straight up zero % chance.

I am definitely not saying that Jody and NO are blameless, however.

The Bucks show you don't have to be a top 10 market to compete. Blazer moves have been too conservative in the Dame era.

    This.

Neil is the most conservative GM in the history of the NBA.

His love for dumper diving has this team stuck on a treadmill — and this was obvious since 2016. He’s fine with squeaking into the playoffs each year.

Neil has to go before Dame.

If SJWs from Wisconsin started blaming Giannis all over the place, he would have left, and they'd have no chance.

Hold them accountable? They'll just sell the team and the new owners will move them.

Isn’t that basically the plot of the movie “Major League”

Attendance falls enough to break the lease?

I guess if Giannis is very thin-skinned, he might have left. But to where? Where is the city where NBA players are never criticized?

Lillard and Giannis to Seattle. That's the start of a pretty good team.

dame isn’t requesting a trAde because of SJW’s.

it’s about the teams that he has played with and the lack of talent those teams have had
