Love it. Dame Culture is a real thing.

Maybe we can actually turn the corner on the FA market with articles like this?

Curry would be my priority to keep then Kanter.. Hood really hasn’t been that noticeable lately. He started off nice for us then sorta slowly disappearing since.

I’m glad he’s liking it here and it shows how the organization is well liked but I wouldn’t care one bit if he didn’t come back

    Wow, really?

Hood is a talented ball player that actually gives us height at one of the guard positions.

I would be very sad if we couldn't find a way to keep him. It's a sweet icing on the cake that he wants to stay.

I agree. Out of the 3 FA, Hood is the one that is the lowest priority. Curry -> Kanter -> Hood

I don't think I'd offer him more than the $3.5M (or what ever his current salary * 120% is). Most definitely would not use the Tax MLE to keep him around. I think we can get a better player for that money.

It would be awesome if they could keep all 3, let alone 1

Barkley is buying the team from Jody Allen and moving the franchise to Alabama?

Unless Evan Turner invites Meyers Leonard over to his house for a swim party and a truck happens to fall off of the cliff above and into the pool at exactly the right time, that's not happening.

This reminds me of 2016 when everyone wanted to keep our overachieving team together and we overpaid for Moe and Nards. I think Curry is the priority, having 3 guards who drain 3s is game changing. I think Skal/Zach/Cheap FA can hold down the fort at Center for 3/4 of a season until Nurk comes back so I wouldn’t overpay for Kanter, even if we could. Hood is streaky but seems to be a good teammate, I wouldn’t mind him back but I don’t think it would be impossible to replace him either.

Curry didnt look good at first either. Keep in mind one guy has had 82 games to figure the team out. Another has had 30 something games.

There's just really not any money. I think maybe we could sign Hood for the MLE, but Kanter is gone for sure and I'm not sure about Curry.

These three have been huge for us. If we want to keep that success, then we either need to find a way to resign them, or find someone of equal skill who wants to play here. But money would still be a problem there too.

Kanter is going to command more than $5 million per year. Maybe double that. He's not going to take our MLE.

And unfortunately it's Turner that we have under contract next season.
