    they look dominant.

It's a lot of fun being a Cubs fan these days.

I really believed I wouldn't see a World Series in my lifetime. Now I wonder how many?

    Great team!

    http://www.fangraphs.com/coolstandings.aspx

They have a 17.2% chance of winning the WS right now.
The Dodgers have a 14.8% chance. The Nats have a 13.4% chance.

They have the best chance of any team. Its hard to win the World Series though, even if you are the best team.

Teams with the best record historically don't win.

Same is true for 100+ win teams.

But the Cubs sure do look dominant.

In my lifetime I've seen 2 very good Cubs teams...'69 and '84. This team is clearly better than those. On paper, they have no weaknesses.

    LOL

Cubs have to win 1 of 2 at home to advance to the Series for the first time since 1945.

This is the kind of set up perfect for the goat curse.

I'm a White Sox fan. It makes me mad when I hear other White Sox fans who happen to have radio microphones tell die-hard Cubs fans to relax and keep their perspective.

While I want the Cubs to win it all, I freely admit that I won't bleed if they fall short. It's easy for those who are not 100% emotionally invested in the Cubs fate to tell everyone to be calm.

2005 wasn't that long ago that I can't remember what it felt like. I understand the excruciating anxiety.

I'll be thrilled if the Cubs get to and win the World Series. However, if they win it, I will not say, "WE won."

I want all my die-hard Cubs friends to be able to say, "WE won!" It's a great feeling.

The Cubs are in the World Series.

Has anything that had such a high probability of happening been nonetheless so unbelievable?

IMO the Indians have to win the Kluber games to have a chance. So they did that. Kershaw shut the Cubs down once too.

My gut tells me the Cubs win tonight if Arrieta can have a passable outing. Average pitchers have too tough a time with that Cubs lineup. It is baseball though so you never know.

Their playoff odds have the Indians slightly favored at this point. :/

This is wild. I went to the grocery store today. A grocery store in Evergreen Park...die-hard White Sox territory. All the checkers were wearing Cubs gear...Amazing.
