Though Deng has faced the Bulls as a Cavalier and a member of the Heat, Sunday will be his first game at the UC as an opponent. I think most Bulls' fans have been Deng fans, more-so than Bulls message board fans who were always pretty much split between fans and haters. I expect a warm and respectful reception for Deng tomorrow. This said, I know very few people for whom Deng was their favorite Bull for an extended period. In his early career, votes split between him, Hinrich and Gordon. Later, Noah and of course Rose have been more beloved.
I always liked Lu. Still do. I wish he took way more 3pt shots is all. But we could have had Gasol in his prime for him. We can only imagine that route might have led to championships.
