A building across the street burnt down. A huge fire. Woke me up. Was hearing pops, thought it might have been gun shots, but heard people yelling get out fire! Looked out and the building was up in flames. I think the whole fire department is here. Lights went out. Burnt through the power lines. It appears they have it under control. Fire keeps coming back it looks like. The road is a river My apartment smells like smoke Got my son and wife an evacuated till it was safe. Still watching hoping they get it out. It was an old apartment building. No one lived there. Homeless people go in there sometimes. They should have torn it down years ago, but I guess it was too expensive for the owner. I imagine people were camping in there or had a meth lab or something. Or some kids lit it up. Tired and I can't go to sleep
Portland's got a strange way of showing appreciation for the citizens who risk their lives to save the lives of others 24/7. https://www.wweek.com/news/city/202...sing-vaccination-or-failing-to-provide-proof/
Yes, how dare Portland try to keep firefighters from catching a potentially fatal, easily preventable, contagious disease.
Fire workers means to terminate them. It doesn't mean they worked for the fire department or that they were set on fire. You might want to actually read the articles you post.
Hope this gets sorted out soon for your family's sake CC....if your house smells like smoke...just smoke a bunch of pot and change the smell! Hope you have some good exhaust fans to help the air. Good luck dude!
"...citizens who risk their lives to save the lives of others 24/7" doesn't mean just Firemen. You might want to actually read my posts before you ridicule them. But yes, Firemen are included. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/c...emerge-in-wake-of-vaccine-deadline/ar-AAPJTvt
