Roy, Rudy and Bayless. keep blake if he wants to be the 4th and pick up scraps. that would give us 3 guys that can create their own shots and two guys (roy and rudy) who can and will distirbute the ball.

    +1

Blake and Andre should both be traded for needed rebounders and more consistent scorers.

If Bayless can learn to run the pick and roll efficiently, there is no reason for him not to start.

Rudy is a great 6th man to have off the bench.

I'd be up for this. I'd love to see these three become our core in the backcourt. Rudy just needs to be healthy enough to be relied upon for 20-25 mins a game.

Which he would be if it wasn't for Trevor Ariza messing up Rudy's back on that play last year.

I really want us to trade Blake before Rudy returns from injury.

    Blake/Miller.

One needs to be gone by the time Rudy returns. You just can't have Bayless on the bench.

I want Bayless ready to start next season when Oden returns. Might as well start the process now IMHO.

It appears to me, after watching the last two games, that Miller is the man out. As average as Blake's defense is, Miller is worse and things just seem to flow better when he is not on the court.

Do we start Rudy as well to make it a BARFO lineup?

I'm not sure about that. Blake is simply horrendous on D and can't get to the FT line to save his life. While Andre isn't exactly lighting it up, I give him the edge simply because he can get to the stripe.

Bayless can get to the stripe. Blake hits threes. Miller is expendable.

At the end of games I agree with you, but Miller has actually had some nice stretches during the start of the last two games; tonight he found LaMarcus for an easy dunk and had a nice post up of Nash. Then Roy doesn't have to setup the offense and expend too much energy early in the game.

But in the fourth it's all about Brandon being fresh and initiating the offense, he's really our PG at that point. Miller isn't much help since he has little outside shooting to space the floor, he's not much use playing off the ball.

When Rudy does come back I would like to see the Bayless/Rudy/Roy rotation at the 1 and 2. I don't think Miller would be happy or productive playing behind all three of them, but Blake is a great player to have as the 4th guard, or your 10th man on the bench. The problem is when we try to make Blake one of our top 4 players he utterly fails; that should not be his role.

good observation. And if Miller can be happy in that limited role, it could work out well.

I have been on so many tirades to try and get that lineup played. That guard linepup would be dominant IMO. They just need time together to jell.

I'd trade Blake. We are getting off to better starts with Miller starting than we have with Blake (Slow starts are a pet peeve of mine) and then in the 4th quarter we go to Bayless/Roy because we need Bayless Killdroid mentality and ability to put the defense on their heals. Still need to find time for Rudy.

Blake is a decent defender against bigger players. He can stay in front of those guys and he plays them physical. He can't guard smaller quicker players to save his life. In certain matchups Blake can provide a good role as long as passes the ball almost every time he touches it like he did against the Suns tonight. As long as Bayless and Roy can keep the rock out of Blakes hands in crunch time (unless it's an open 3) im happy.

Yeah I don't think that Having Blake guarding a SF is going to be a good long term idea though.
