"I'd love to go back to Charlotte" - Brevin Knight <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Brevin Knight: "I'd love to go back to Charlotte" by Jamie Griffin / May 20, 2005 How do you feel about the current news concerning the new collective bargaining agreement? Brevin Knight: It's a little bit stressful. Of course you want things to be in place so that we can continue to do the good things we have started to do in this league. It's also a business. Everyone has to work under the terms they feel is fair to everyone. And this is the negotiation process. They'll take it through the summer. In the summer, not a lot goes on for us anyway besides summer league, and then just doing some trades or getting your team ready. So hopefully this will get done by the time we get to training camp, so we can continue to let this game grow and let people continue to love it. Would you be shocked if there was a lockout? BK: Not at all. Like I said, there's not much to lose during the summer. And with both sides, there's positioning. Once it gets closer to that time for things to happen, that's when it picks up. I expect something to be done when it comes time for training camp. </div> Source ------------------------ If I were Charlotte, I'd be willing to bring him back but only if he were making less and were going to be playing a reduced role to let Jason Hart and Keith Bogans shine. Knight had a great year but he's been injury prone and he's not getting younger.
Knight had a really good season but I think he needs to go to a veteran team as a solid backup...Charlotte should be focused on youth and on helping their younger players grow...therefore, they should let Knight go and develop Hart that much more if they have confidence in him...
I'm sure the Bobcats would love to have Knight back for them next season to because he is a great "true point guard". He gets a lot of assists and gets the job done.
theyll keep knight because hes such a great passer and theres not many guys in the league that put up numbers like he did. assists that is
I think they'll keep him, he's had a great year in Charlotte..and If we get CP, Brevin will be a great mentor to the kid.
I'm sure the bobcats want to retain him. He'll have a choice to stay in charlotte or go to a contender.
