and needed to fix this ASAP...

A trade involving CJ for wiggins.. we could maybe get more back from them

Put a package together for Marc Gasol including Nurk and whoever to balance out contracts. Maybe add a first rounder. TPE?

What do you think of a dame Wiggins Gasol lineup?

I feel like this could actually be attainable

The Nurk for Gasol move feels like a win-now move, but there's no way to win now versus Houston AND Golden State. I'd rather keep Nurkic and roll the dice that he stinks enough not to get a max deal then grows for us over the next few years.

Wasn't trying to make a joke. I wasn't looking for laughter. I was making a statement, one I stand behind. Wiggins fucking sucks. :dunno:

Seems like this entire discussion belongs in the "crazy trade ideas" thread.

CJ for Wiggins trade makes a lot of sense although it would be very difficult to make salary's match.

Wiggins is like a taller, not good version of CJ. ;)

    Have you seen Wiggins play?

Neither have I, he's mostly invisible.

It makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to trade CJ to a team in our Division...

You send him East man... This is you right now:

Like SportsandWhine said, that would be a Win-now trade, and we are definetly not in win now. Btw Gasol is not that good anymore since the last years, and Wiggins is a dissapointment imo considering that he was the 1st Overall pick. He's still just a Volume Shooter who is invisible to often. And his defense sucks, wich is crazy because he has the body and athletic to be a great two way player, Wiggins is probably to lazy for defense.

And olshey said in the last podcast that there is no trade who makes you competitive enough to beat the warriors, I think that was a clear message. I hope we rebuild after this Season and trade BOTH Dame and Cj and get young talented players and many picks as possible in return. With this roster we stuck in mediocricy

I think CJ is enough to help bring back what we need, IMO. Don't trade Dame for so many reasons.

Just saying it would break my heart to trade Dame because he is my Favourite player and he is so loyal, but I think it's necessary, he deserves a Ring and Portland can not give him that in the next years :(

5 years from now he's 32-33, if we do it this year, he'll be on the tail end of his prime, perfect time for him to get a ring.

Again, we're playing for years down the road - even if we trade him this year to another team thats not GSW or cleveland, he doesn't get a ring from them anyway - so this notion that we should give him a chance with another team is asinine if the window to win is 4-5 years out anyway. I have no idea why that makes no sense to some people.

I don’t know if Dame with 32-33 years is that good as he is now, probably not, but that's normal when you get older. And i dont know if he want's to stay if we rebuild, he is in prime now, I dont know about that
