This is the thread where fans of injury-ridden teams can commiserate. Because there's nothing more frustrating than when you're team falls short of expectations because of injuries.

I can't handle what's happened to the Giants defense since training camp started. After all the offseason moves, this D looked like one of the deepest and most versatile in the league. The depth chart looked like this:

After a training camp full of injuries and 2 weeks of regular season, we're heading into the Tampa game looking like this:

I'm really skeptical that this team makes it deep into the playoffs with a D like that. I haven't even mentioned our injuries on offense either (2 of our 4 starting WR's are out).

    Oh damn...

I didn't know you guys were so injured. Nothing is too serious right? Just hope that you got everything out of the way so you guys will be healthy when it counts.

I agree that injuries suck ass. One injury can make or break the season. Eagles were kinda screwed when Donovan went down, luckily for us, our schedule should be pretty light until he returns. What hurt the most was when Stewart Bradley went down in training camp, for the rest of the year. He was due for a breakout season and ready to emerge as the leader of our defense. His absence is pretty noticeable because Gaither/Mays have not performed up to par.

Not to mention Shawn Andrews, who I was so excited to see play this year. Out for the season again.

lol, you're a better man than I am. I have a sneaking suspicion that all these injuries are karma for my Week 1 taunting of the McNabb injury.

In terms of seriousness, Alford and Phillips are out for the season. That really sucks because both are young players who were due for breakout seasons (similar to Bradley on your team). Canty and Ross have significant hamstring issues and haven't shown much progress over the year. Nobody really knows how long they'll be out. Dockery's day-to-day. Tuck has a shoulder injury and the team might keep him out for 2 weeks as a precaution, but he might be playing in pain for the whole season.

I'm so glad we're matched up against the AFC West this year. We really need these beatable games early in the season.

Tuck is a beast I hope he gets healthy soon. I think your team will be fine Chut, they have about as good a shot as anyone.

I'm worried about the secondary, man. 2 of our top 3 corners are out indefinitely and our best safety is now out for the year. I think there's a strong possibility that the Giants make a trade sometime soon. Otherwise, I'm definitely worried about the prospect of starting CC fucking Brown.

    I miss Jamal Williams.

Nick Hardwick is probably out for the year, as well.

Oh, and to go along with a recovering knee, Merriman hurt his groin.
