    Just saw that the Indiana Pacers have made the playoffs 25 times since 1980, the most of any team in the Eastern Conference. Not knocking the Pacers, but that made me wonder if the WC is just a tougher conference period.

    So by comparison to WC teams:

    Lakers: 32 times
    Spurs: 35 times
    Suns: 24 times
    Nuggets: 23 times
    Rockets: 29 times
    Jazz: 29
    Portland: 32 times
