They must really believe in Nassib. I think they really hope to develop him quickly and then use him in a trade to get some picks. Considering the crap a lot of teams are using at QB, it's not a bad idea.

It's not like Carr would have got any playing time anyway... so why not let Nassib play with and learn from Eli so they can trade him.... besides, I heard that Carr was hurt... not sure if that is true...

The Giants will regret cutting Marvin Austin. He's finally healthy and seems ready to play. He's only 24, and the Giants kept both Patterson and Rogers (both 30+).

And I can't believe they didn't cut that DB who gave up 2 TDs to Tebow the other night.

I would not have cut Austin over fat slob Rogers who is a relic. That was dumb. Typical Giants, they think they can win it every year. If they were realistic, the 2 guards and center on this team are now below average. Snee is not good anymore and takes many dumb penalties. The LB's don't have one real talent among them. The DE end spot isn't close to what it once was.

Giants 2013 roster has big problems: OL is very mediocre; best player
on this line is Beatty; center and guards are oft injured with no depth
HUGE mistake:Letting Marv Austin, 24 years old, go and keeping
Patterson & Rogers is terrible judgment.......these two will wear out
    & falter after 8 games.
FIVE LINEBACKERS and none of them have endurance; in fact,
they are very 'soft'...not a hitter in the bunch. Worst group
of LBs in the NFL! Most are Special Team players.
DBs are Swiss Cheese and the holes keep getting bigger!
Webster and Ross..two horrible aging cover men.
And who will be running for short yardage on this team?

Giant management better pray & hope Eli stays healthy, and even so
Eli has not looked good the whole preseason( thanks to the porous OL).

This 2013 presents more questions than answers. Giants are kidding
themselves if they think this is a Championship team. They look
like a .500 team even with a healthy Eli & very good corp of WR.......
and it could get very ugly.

I'm thinking we're looking at an early pick next draft...

Hate to say it but the best thing might be for Eli to miss the season with a sprain in his knee or shoulder, something not horrific and the Giants get the 1st overall and take the Clownbeast. I don't care if he takes a couple of plays off in college in a game they easily won. Guy is a monster and would instantly give our defense respect.
